39 new cases of Covid-19 registered in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours

39 new cases of Covid-19 were registered in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, the head of the National Crisis Headquarters General Ventsislav Mutafchiyski announced at the regular morning briefing. 14 people were admitted to hospital in the past 24 hours. 11 people in Sofia, 11 in Vidin, 4 in Plovdiv, 4 in Kyustendil, 2 in Sliven, 2 in Pazardzhik, 1 in Pleven, 1 in Blagoevgrad, 1 in Gabrovo, 1 in Haskovo and 1 person in Yambol were diagnosed with the novel coronavirus in that period. 3 more medics tested positive for Covid-19, of whom two sanitary workers and 1 doctor. The total number of Covid-19 cases in this country reached 1,387. There are 1,107 active cases of coronavirus infection. 651 people in Sofia tested positive for Covid-19 until now. 222 Bulgarians recovered from the virus. The number of Covid-19 deaths reached 58.
