Bulgarian Industrial Association demands re-opening of malls

In a letter to Prime Minister Boyko Borissov the Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA) is demanding the re-opening of malls so as to mitigate the negative consequences for the economy.

The retail trade industry employs close to 295,000 people who are currently either on the labour market or are furloughed, the letter reads. The BIA states its willingness to discuss a concrete date and all mandatory safety measures.
