“By mid-June we shall know whether we can emerge from the crisis caused by the coronavirus by ourselves or whether we shall need the help of crediting,” said PM Boyko Borissov.

The losses for the Bulgarian economy are in the lack of revenues. At this time they amount to EUR 1.7 billion and all sectors want help. As to the option of Bulgaria using help from the EU for emerging from the crisis, Boyko Borissov stated that this was money under European programmes and not additional funding.
