Bulgaria to destroy over 19 tons of salmonella-infected chicken from Poland

The Bulgarian Food Safety Agency has identified a shipment of salmonella-infected chicken from Poland. The shipment which contains 19,695 kilograms of chilled chicken legs will be destroyed. The meat is not allowed to be traded on the Bulgarian market, the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency has assured.

One month ago, another shipment consisting of over 32 tons of Polish chicken legs contaminated with salmonella was destroyed.
