No artifacts have been taken out of the National Museum of History, its Director Associate Professor Boni Petrunova told the Bulgarian National Radio on occasion of the allegation of businessman Vasil Bozhkov that a rhyton from his seized collection is on sale on the free market. Boni Petrunova called Vasil Bozhkov’s words fake news. Archaeologist Professor Nikolay Ovcharov commented for BNR that Vasil Bozhkov used imperfections in the Cultural Heritage Act over the years. Thus, he managed to make several exhibitions with artifacts.
