Mass testing to show the level of immunity to Covid-19 is to be launched in the region of Burgas. The mass screening will take place in the regional centre and municipalities around Burgas Bay and the Southern portion of the Black Sea coast.
This was announced by the mayor of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov after a meeting with chief medical inspector Assoc. Prof. Angel Kunchev. The screening will be carried out in the first half of June so that, at the beginning of the summer season, Burgas will have sample results that would enable it to promote the region as a safe holiday destination.
