Nearly 3,000 tons of rose blossoms were picked in four Bulgarian districts- Plovdiv, Pazardzhik, Stara Zagora and Sliven by May 21, 2020. A total of 4,600 hectares planted with oil-yielding rose were harvested. In the same period last year, only 1,000 tons of rose blossoms were picked, the latest operational analysis of Bulgaria’s Ministry of Agriculture and Food shows.
