Over 60% of the hotels in Sunny Beach and Golden Sands resorts to open for summer season

From May 22 until today, over 91,000 tourists have stayed in hotels or other tourist accommodation places registered in the Bulgarian Unified Tourist Information System. 93% of them have been Bulgarians and the rest - foreigners.
Between 60 and 70% of the hotels in the Bulgarian Black Sea resorts of Sunny Beach and Golden Sands have stated that they will open during the summer tourist season, according to the Ministry of Tourism.
As of June 22, Bulgaria is to launch integrated communication campaigns for the neighbouring markets, Germany, the Visegrad Four, the Scandinavian countries, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus. They will last one year and will cover all communication channels. The goal is to advertise Bulgaria as a year-round tourist destination.
