The Prime Minister Boyko Borissov held talks with the specialized organizations in freight transport. The Bulgarian position is positive that no texts should be allowed in the Mobility I Package for the return of vehicles in the country of registration in case of impossibility to use the weekly rest at a guarded parking lot inside the vehicle. Drivers must have a choice.
There are ambiguities regarding the application of the texts for seconded drivers and they interfere with the normal functioning of the market. Competition in the EU transport sector must be maintained without putting our companies in a worse position, Borissov said.
A discussion of the Mobility I Package in the European Parliament is scheduled for July 8, when the additional proposals for changes will be discussed.
