Mile Nedelkovski is a prominent writer, poet and playwright from North Macedonia with Bulgarian self-awareness. Winner of numerous awards for his work, he was born in 1935 in Prilep and studied in Bulgarian schools.
Nedelkovski is the author of many novels and the screenplay of the 2002 Bulgarian-Macedonian film "Warming Up Yesterday's Lunch" directed by Kostadin Bonev. The movie won the screenplay award of the Ministry of Culture at the festival in Varna in 2002. The film also shows the persecution and repressions against the writer by the Yugoslav state intelligence service UDBA.
