Former official of Bulgaria’s Ministry of Interior detained in operation of Prosecutor’s Office and Police

A specialized operation of Bulgaria’s Prosecutor’s Office and this country’s Police was conducted on the territory of Sofia. A former employee of the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior who was guarding fugitive Vasil Bozhkov in the recent years was detained in the operation. The name of the detainee is Slavcho Markov. According to information of the Bulgarian National Television, he was one of the three closest people to businessman Vasil Bozhkov in the past three years. The Specialized Prosecutor’s Office has announced that it was collecting evidence under an investigation of criminal offences committed by Vasil Bozkov who is now in Dubai.
