After being questioned at the prosecutor’s office for some 30 minutes, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said that he had given a statement regarding the illegal waste case and his association with Plamen Bobokov.

Boyko Borissov said he had known Plamen Bobokov for over 10 years and that he remembers the businessman being a member of delegations and a decent man. Bobokov’s business has received assistance but only as proposed by the employer organizations, the Bulgarian prime minister said. Everything that has been done in this direction has been within the bounds of the law. Boyko Borissov also commented on the Badr tanker incident, stating that after the talks with the Lybian authorities the court’s decision is pending on the tanker’s status.
