Gabriela Petrova becomes first in Europe and second in the world in triple jump

Athlete Gabriela Petrova has started the season with a strong result in the triple jump and climbed to first place in the seasonal rankings in Europe, bgathletic.com reported. At the Plovdiv tournament, which was the first athletics competition for men and women in Bulgaria this summer because to the pandemic Petrova won in the triple jump event with 14.38 m. Petrova climbed to second place in the world rankings, behind Liadamis Povea (Cuba) with 14.55 in February.
