At last night’s tenth consecutive day of anti-government protests, speakers at the protest in front of the Council of Ministers building in Sofia called for civil disobedience, and for “besieging” the National Assembly, and the buildings of state and municipal institutions at 7 AM on Monday morning.

The protest in Sofia, which passed without any incidents, ended with a procession to the monument to Vasil Levski, to mark the birth anniversary of the Apostle of Freedom, where the protesters observed a minute of silence.

Protests also took place in Varna, Bourgas, Plovdiv, Rousse, Haskovo and many other towns around the country. The protests in front of the Bulgarian embassies in many European towns continue, with Bulgarians in Nuremberg, Germany, expected to join the protests today.
