Deputy Premier Tomislav Donchev admits that Bulgaria has problem with corruption

The government will remain in office as long as it can implement useful policies, Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier Tomislav Donchev said during the debates in Parliament on the motion of no-confidence against the cabinet. "Corruption is a chronic disease in this country", Tomislav Donchev admitted. "The problem is that we got used to living with corruption. Bulgaria must find enough strenght to put an end to this chronic disease", Deputy Premier Donchev said and asked the MPs what else was needed to deal with corruption provided that the Bulgarian institutions and the legislation are similar to the institutions and the legislation of the most developed European countries.
