Alexandrina, whose family is from Pazardzhik but have been living in the Netherlands for 20 years, was awarded with the title student of 2020. A photo of her and her teacher can be seen on numerous billboards around her city, as well as on her school's website. The recognition comes because of her high achievements at school.

Alexandrina is of Romani origin. The girl says that she owes her achievements to the support of her family. Her parents have always encouraged her to study and develop intellectually, the excellent student says. Her hard work did not go unnoticed in a foreign country and received special attention. "I was also a very good student back in Bulgaria, but I did not have the opportunity to continue studying there," said in an interview with Nova TV Yanko Yankov - Alexandrina's father, who works as a painter in the Netherlands.
