Bulgarian municipalities with population of over 15,000 to be funded under regional program

For the new programming period under the Rural Development Program, larger municipalities with a population of over 15,000 people, will be moved to the regional program, which has larger budget.

The Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Desislava Taneva informed about the decision when she visited a site in the district of Pleven, financed under the measure "Basic services and renewal in rural areas" of the program for the period 2014-2020.

According to Minister Taneva, the implementation of the Rural Development Program with access to financial resources for municipalities under 15 thousand people will be preserved.
