The 44th day of anti-government protests in Bulgaria ended peacefully. At the initiative of the BOEC association, the BNT building was blocked twice with a request for the director general Emil Koshlukov to resign. Later, the traditional procession on the yellow cobblestones took place, which stopped in front of the National Assembly building as the demonstrations chanted "Resignation".
An open-air screening took place at Orlov Most (Eagles' Bridge), and protesters watched the documentary "Winter on Fire: Ukraine's Fight for Freedom" about the protests in Ukraine, united under the name Euromaidan.
Meanwhile, a counter-protest against acts of violence took place on Sitnyakovo Blvd. in front of the Romanian Embassy.
Three major intersections in the capital Sofia still remain blocked today - at the so-called "Triangle of power", at Eagles' Bridge and at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
