Kite festival draws visitors to Varna's coast this weekend

Kites of various shapes and colours will fly above the Asparuhovo beach in Varna on August 22nd and 23rd. This will be the 8th edition of the kite festival here and it will feature demonstrations of kite clubs., which will present their unique models,  the organizer Yuri Georgiev from the club Sky Wonders told Radio Varna.

During the two days of the festival, professional clubs will show their latest creations, including three-dimensional kite models of a bear, tiger, octopus, ladybugs attracting the attention of children. There will also be demonstrations of masterful handling of sport kites - advanced models that fly very fast and delineate complex figures in the sky.

Only Bulgarian clubs will participate in this year's edition of the kite festival in Varna due to the coronavius ​​epidemic, which makes travel difficult.
