Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev has made an address to the National Assembly and the nation. It happened amidst protests held in front of the National Assembly building. Escape will not save you from shame, President Radev told MPs. This proves that the real Parliament is now standing in front of this building, Rumen Radev said when the parliamentary groups of GERB and Volya parties left the plenary hall. Before entering the National Assembly building President Radev was greeted by protesters who shouted resignation. President Radev called on the MPs not to support an expert cabinet within the current National Assembly and reject the amendments to the electoral code proposed by the ruling coalition. President Radev also called on the Police to avoid violence.
