Bulgaria joins Three Seas Initiative with 20 million euros

20 million euros will be Bulgaria's participation in the Investment Fund of the Three Seas Initiative, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov announced during today's online cabinet meeting. His statement was posted on the prime minister's Facebook page.
The Three Seas Initiative is a policy project at the level of heads of state of 12 EU Member States: Austria, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia and the Czech Republic, which is developing as a platform for regional cooperation with a focus on energy, transport, communications, information technology and business, the government's press service reports.
Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva has been appointed national coordinator on the Bulgarian side of the Three Seas Initiative.
