The situation downtown Bulgaria’s capital Sofia is calm and traffic is normal.

There aren’t any blocked intersections as last night Police did not allow protesters to build a new tent camp on Tsar Osvoboditel Boulevard. Demonstrators were told that they were violating the Road Traffic Law. That is why they removed their tents voluntarily.

“We will never forget the Bloody Wednesday. We will not forgive the politicians and Premier Borissov who have blood on their hands”, the organizers of the protests said. They also announced that the next nationwide protest known as “Grand National Uprising” will take place on September 10.

On Saturday evening antigovernment protests are to take place in other Bulgarian cities as well.
