The organizers of the antigovernment protests in Bulgaria are calling on their supporters to flood the space in front of the former communist Party House and current National Assembly building on September 10. The rally will be held under the motto Second “Grand National Uprising”. The organizers voiced hopes that the second mass protest will pass off peacefully and without violence, wounded and arrested people, unlike the First Grand National Uprising, which took place on September 2.

The 62nd night of protests downtown Sofia passed off peacefully and without tension. Demonstrators joined the traditional procession from the so-called Triangle of Power to Eagles’ Bridge. The intersection on Eagles’ Bridge was blocked for nearly 2 hours, reporters of BNR inform.
