Skopje: Good neighbor agreement should solve historical disputes between Bulgaria and North Macedonia

Bulgaria and North Macedonia should use the good neighbor agreement to solve all historical issues that have been existing in the two countries for decades, a statement of North Macedonia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reads. The statement was made in response to an inquiry of BGNES agency after Bujar Osmani became Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia.

North Macedonia will continue enhanced political communication with Bulgaria and the EU. The key message is that an extremely important and complex process of dialogue, friendship and mutual respect between two neighboring countries has begun, the statement further reads.
