Tennis: Tsvetana Pironkova back in world rankings

Tsvetana Pironkova is back in the world rankings in tennis for the first time in 3 years after her remarkable performance at the US Open. Grigor Dimitrov has dropped 3 positions in the ATP rankings.

Pironkova is back in the weekly WTA rankings in 156th position, with 430 points which she won during her matches up to the US Open quarter finals. She is now Bulgaria’s seed No. 2 after Viktoriya Tomova who is 136th with 509 points.

In the men’s rankings Grigor Dimitrov is in 22nd position. This week he is taking part in the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Rome. Today Girgor Dimitrov is playing versus Gianluca Mager, Italy.
