Six F-16 aircraft from the 31st Fighter Wing of the US Air Force in Europe have successfully relocated from the Italian air base Aviano to Bulgaria's air base Graf Ignatievo, the Bulgarian Ministry of Defence has announced. Together with representatives of Greece, Canada, Romania and the United States, they will participate in the flight training "Thracian Cinderella - 2020".

The participants perform a wide range of joint tasks in the Bulgarian airspace and operate from 7 military airports on the territories of Bulgaria, Greece and Romania. After September 25, the American F-16s will stay in Bulgaria for a few weeks and will take part in air policing flights, BTA has reported.
