What the UN will look like tomorrow depends only on us. We can build its future together. Let's just do it, Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva said in a video message on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the UN organization. She is part of the Bulgarian delegation for the General Assembly, which this year is held remotely.
Zaharieva noted the role of the United Nations over the past 75 years, stressing both its achievements and the impossibility of attaining humanity's ideals of lasting peace, prosperity and human rights around the world.
