80 years since the return of the region of South Dobrudja and the signing of the Craiova  Treaty is solemnly celebrated on the Day of Dobrich. Official guests for the holiday  are President Rumen Radev and Defense Minister Krasimir Karakachanov, BNR reports.

On September 25, the Bulgarian army entered the city of Dobrich peacefully. This was done according to the Craiova Treaty of 1940. This is the only territorial change since the Second World War, recognized as legal and inviolable by the victors after 1945. This act established lasting peace between Bulgaria and Romania.
