Vice President Iliana Yotova has opened an exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Acad. Anton Donchev at the "Sts. Cyril and Methodius” National Library in Sofia. Highlights of the exhibition are the first edition of "Vreme Razdelno" ("Time of Parting") from 1964, the manuscript of the novel and its translations.

In 1968, American writer Irving Stone nominated the book for Best Historical Novel Published in the United States. With a special decision of the jury, the novel was admitted to the competition because the award is given only to American authors. However, Donchev's further participation in the competition was thwarted by the Union of Bulgarian Writers in then Socialist Bulgaria.
