Bulgaria’s Vice-President Iliana Yotova participated at the National Thracian Worship in the town of Madzharovo, South Bulgaria, dedicated to the 107th anniversary since the destruction of the Thracian Bulgarians in 1913 and the mass extermination of nearly 2,000 people, mainly children, women and seniors.

"Today is a day of homage, remembrance and gratitude. We gather together to honor the memory and to repeat the strong covenant of the Thracians- “We can forgive, but we will never forget”, this country’s Vice-President Iliana Yotova said in front of the pantheon of the fallen Thracians at the Thracian Memorial Complex.
