On the 99th day of antigovernment protests in Bulgaria, students are also demanding the resignation of Bulgaria’s cabinet and this country’s Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev. They are gathering for a protest rally in front of the Rectorate building of the Sofia University one day before the Grand National Uprising 5 scheduled for October 16.

The 98th evening of protests in Sofia passed without tension. People from “Justice for All” civil initiative protested in front of the Palace of Justice and demanded the resignation of Bulgaria’s Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev. Later, demonstrators joined the antigovernment rally downtown Sofia.

People from Veliko Tarnovo, Gorna Oryahovitsa and Lyaskovets protested for another consecutive evening in front of “Mother Bulgaria” monument in Veliko Tarnovo and demanded the resignation of Bulgaria’s cabinet and Prosecutor General Geshev, BNR reports.
