Due to repeated breaches of the provisions of lease contracts for agricultural land from the State Land fund, the Ministry of Agriculture is proposing that farmers who have not made payments in due time be deprived of the right to use the land.
For this to happen the Law on Support to Farmers needs to be amended. During this farming year the state is leasing almost 120,000 hectares of its own land to farmers.
