998 coronavirus positive results after 7 442 PCR tests

The new cases of Covid-19 registered in the past 24 hours in Bulgaria are 998, or 13.41% of the 7,442 PCR tests performed. This is shown by the data from the Unified Information Portal.

Most new cases are in Sofia - 306, and Plovdiv - 107. Out of a total of 28,505 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country so far, 10,672 are active.

There are 1450 patients in hospitals, 76 of them are in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours, 14 people passed away and 197 recovered.
