President Rumen Radev awards state distinctions to prominent Bulgarians in culture

President Rumen Radev has bestowed state distinctions on prominent Bulgarians. Bulgaria’s head of state said he was proud to present the high state awards on the eve of November 1- the National Enlighteners’ Day.

Film director and lecturer Ivan Terziev was awarded the Order of Saints Cyril and Methodius-Collar. President Radev awarded the Order of Cyril and Methodius first class to film director Nikolay Georgiev, Rashko Ivanov who devoted many years of his life to the establishment of Bulgaria-Croatia relations in the academic field and to architect Lozan Lozanov. Donka Koprinkova, conductor and artistic director of Slavyansko Edinstvo Choir was awarded the Order of Cyril and Methodius second class.
