Draft budget for next year is in line with pandemic conditions

In difficult times, when a pandemic, social and economic crisis has been growing, only the state can help, Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev said at a briefing, BTA has reported.

In front of media, Minister Donchev, together with the Minister of Social Affairs Denitsa Sacheva, the Minister of Education Krassimir Valchev, as well as with representatives of the Ministries of Finance, Health and Agriculture presented the highlights of the draft state budget for 2021. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the state was doing everything possible to ensure that measures are fast, focused and reach everyone.

Minister Donchev has quoted data according to which even after the loan, the debt-to-GDP ratio was 23.5 percent. Thus, Bulgaria continues to have the lowest debt among EU Member States.
