Bulgarian police officers protested today in front of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Blagoevgrad. They showed solidarity with the protest of their colleagues in other big Bulgarian cities who are demanding a pay rise.

The Policemen contend that they do not receive adequate pay for being on the frontline against the coronavirus pandemic. Policemen are preparing for a nationwide protest on November 8 celebrated as Bulgarian Police Day.
