Most teachers prefer remote classes

In a survey conducted among 6,100 pedagogical specialists, 71.2% of high school teachers support distance learning, BTA has informed. The survey was conducted by the "Education" syndicate at the Podkrepa Trade Union, according to which 65.8% of teachers in junior high school would support the organization of distance learning from November 3, 2020. When it comes to teachers in primary schools, 53.1% of respondents believe that there should be no distance learning. The result is similar in kindergartens, where 56.5 percent of preschool teachers are against the distance regime. In higher education, 69.9% of respondents believe that distance learning should be introduced.
