Virtual conference on EU integration of Western Balkans

A virtual conference “Western Balkans beyond 2020: Actions and decisions in times of pandemic” is taking place on 5 November.

The forum is organized by Movement for Rights and Freedoms MEP Ilhan Kyuchyuk and the Renew Europe group in European Parliament, BGNES reports.

Ilhan Kyuchyuk, who is European Parliament rapporteur for North Macedonia, says that the aim is to bring more clarity to the process of negotiations on the accession of the Western Balkans to the EU. The participants in the conference include Olivér Várhelyi, European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, Bujar Osman, Foreign Minister of North Macedonia, Sokol Dedja, Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, MEPs and experts.
