"Filmauthor" has filed a complaint with the European Commission for violation of European legislation in the part regarding collective management of copyright and production rights on audiovisual works. The complaint concerns Bulgarian, European and American productions, the association announced.

The platforms in Bulgaria continue to carry out their business, which is based entirely on offered content, without allocating a share of their income to the creators of film productions, according to Filmautor. The association represents over 1500 Bulgarian directors, screenwriters, cameramen and producers.
