"God forgive His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch Irinej! May his memory be eternal and blessed!" This is stated in an official message of condolences extended by the Bulgarian Patriarchate on the occasion of the death of the Serbian Patriarch Irinej.

Serbia's Patriarch Irinej Gavrilovic, 90, passed away this morning following a coronavirus infection.
