North Macedonia is doing everything necessary to find a solution to the controversial issues with Sofia, this country’s Premier Zoran Zaev said. “This will happen before the second EU ministerial summit in December. I believe that the working groups will create the adequate atmosphere for this”, Premier Zaev said during the Macedonian Energy Forum 2020, BGNES reports.

The leader of the Democratic Union for Integration and junior coalition partner in North Macedonia’s government Ali Ahmeti voiced hopes that a solution to the open issues with Bulgaria will be found by the end of 2020. “This is not the moment to share publicly the latest proposals and documents exchanged between the two countries. Let’s wait for Bulgaria’s reaction” Ali Ahmeti said an interview for TV 21.
