Antonio Guterres congratulates Bulgaria on 65th anniversary of its UN membership

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has congratulated Bulgaria on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of its membership in the organization, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry announced. Bulgaria joined the UN on December 14, 1955. 
In his video address, Guterres pointed out that through Bulgaria there had been a significant contribution to the work of the organization. "I count on Bulgaria, as a member of the Alliance for Multilateralism, to promote the global cooperation and solidarity that are so necessary and urgent now," the UN Secretary-General added.
