90% of general practitioners say Covid-19 is not reason to take antibiotics

According to 90% of general practitioners, Covid-19 is not a reason for prescribing antibiotics. This is what an online survey of the National Association of General Practitioners in Bulgaria, which was answered by nearly 700 general practitioners. This was what Assoc. Prof. Lyubomir Kirov, chairman of the association, told the BNT.

According to the poll, general practitioners believe that fast and significantly cheaper antigen tests should be used as an equivalent, so that patients with complications could be hospitalized on the basis of these tests.
