Leading tennis players decline participation in Dubai tournament

Leading Bulgarian female tennis players Tsvetana Pironkova, Viktoriya Tomova, Isabella Shinikova and Elitsa Kostova will not be taking part in the ITF hard court tennis tournament in Dubai, BTA reports.

The tournament, with 100,000 USD prize money, is taking place 6-13 December. The Bulgarian tennis players had applied and were supposed to start with the qualifiers on 6 December, but this week all four declined participation.
