The secrets of Arda river canyon and Arda river valley in the Eastern Rhodopes

This is one of the most picturesque places Bulgaria, which is beginning to gain huge popularity among photography lovers. Arda river is the largest Rhodopean river and the second largest tributary of Maritsa river after Tundzha river. The river forms beautiful meanders in Kardzhali region. Here, nature is very well preserved, and the small villages scattered on the Rhodope ridges have preserved their authentic look. An advertising spot of Bulgaria’s Ministry of Tourism, made together with the Association of Bulgarian TourGuides, presents the beauties of this place untouched by mass tourism.
