Chairman of "Democratic Bulgaria" Hristo Ivanov has called on the Specialized Prosecutor's Office to publish all the materials on the inspection of audio recordings of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov. He said that he would appeal against the prosecutor's refusal to initiate pre-trial proceedings over the audio recordings released during the summer, according to which the PM interfered in the work of state structures.
According to Ivanov, the authorities were in a hurry to show the European Parliament that the case was over. There is a forthcoming hearing over Bulgaria in Democracy, Rule of Law and Fundamental Rights Monitoring Group of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs.
