Nearly EUR 700,000 was raised at the end of the traditional charity concert "Bulgarian Christmas". The eighteenth edition of the charity initiative, held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, was broadcast on BNR and BNT on Christmas.

The Bulgarian Christmas charity initiative aims to raise funds to support the treatment and rehabilitation of hundreds of Bulgarian children with various diseases.

The participants in the concert, which was recorded in advance for the first time, united around the cause "Together for children with chronic diseases - let's make hope a reality." The 18th edition of the charity initiative will continue until the end of November 2021.

The previous 17th edition of "Bulgarian Christmas" raised nearly EUR 1.25 million from donations. The funds were used to support the treatment of 2,500 children with serious illnesses. 15 medical institutions in Bulgaria received medical equipment.
