704 applications for distance learning have been submitted to the Ministry of Education by parents of 1^st to 4^th grade children.

In-person schooling is to resume, as of 4 January, for children up to the 4^th grade. Schools will continue to apply an organization of the process of education restricting contacts between separate classes, as well as anti-epidemic disinfection measures, the Ministry of Education has announced.

In class teachers will wear protective face masks. The same may be required of children for each individual class by a decision of the pedagogical council or the teacher. Parents who want their children to remain in remote learning can submit applications to the regional education administrations, the BTA reports.
