Bulgarian Foreign Minister condemns riots in Washington

Bulgarian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva commented on Twitter on the invasion of protesters in the U.S. Capitol and riots in Washington, which interrupted the session of the two houses of the Congress in the United States.

"We condemn the attack on the US Congress buildings. Violence is never a solution. Public order must be restored in order for a peaceful transfer of power in the United States to take place," Minister Zaharieva wrote on Twitter, 24 Chasa paper reported.
