Easing of measures in Bulgaria depends on Covid-19 data collected in the past week

Next week, Bulgaria’s government will decide whether to ease the restrictive anti-epidemic measures, or extend them beyond January 31st.

In an interview for BNR, this country’s Chief State Health Inspector Associate Professor Angel Kunchev, who is a member of the National Operational Headquarters, clarified that this depends on the information collected during the past working week, in which children returned to kindergartens and students from 1st to 4th grade returned to school. A balance between the risk and the social activities must be found, Angel Kunchev said.
